Conditions of Approval <br /> UP 88-19 <br /> Page -24- <br /> The applicant shall submit with the final <br /> Improvement Plan a drainage plan that discusses <br /> grading for the project, drainage calculations; <br /> storm sewer calculations, retention or detention <br /> pond sizing calculations, and terminal outlet <br /> facilities, if proposed; <br /> No building permit shall be issued until conceptual <br /> approval of the drainage system has been granted <br /> from the Department of Public Works and County <br /> Public Health Services, including receipt from the <br /> developer of approved legal clearance as to <br /> drainage releases or other such documents as may be <br /> required by County Counsel. This condition is not <br /> applicable to grading permits for building sites <br /> which can be applied for and, if approved, issued <br /> after the Use Permit is approved and the General <br /> Plan and zoning are effective. <br /> Prior to occupying any building that is connected <br /> to the system, all facilities shall be designed; <br /> have approvals obtained from County Department of <br /> Public Works, Public Health Services, and State <br /> Regional Water Quality Control; have obtained other <br /> needed permits; have completed construction; and <br /> have completed an operations and maintenance manual <br /> and operator training. <br /> Waste Management Plan: <br /> bd. A waste management plan shall be submitted to and <br /> approved by the Solid Waste Division of the Public Works <br /> Department prior to the issuance of any building permits. <br /> The plan shall include the following issues: <br /> The quantity and types of solid wastes anticipated <br /> to be generated on the site; <br /> The quantity and types of any hazardous wastes <br /> anticipated to be generated or used on the site, <br /> with details as to their storage and how spent <br /> containers will be disposed of; <br /> The recycling program to be instituted on the site, <br /> if any; <br /> Plans for waste reduction. <br />
