Participation in the SJMSCP satisfies requirements of both the
state and federal endangered species acts, and ensures that the impacts are mitigated below a
level of significance in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
Although participation in the SJMSCP is voluntary, lead agents should be aware that if project
applicants choose against participating in the SJMSCP, they will be required to provide
alternative mitigation in an amount and kind equal to that provided in the SJMSCP.
SJCOG, Inc. has reviewed application PA-0500011 (SA). This project involves erecting a 100
foot monopole cell tower, 240 square foot equipment shelter and 63 square foot generator pad.
The project is located 1,750 feet west of North State Route 99 West Frontage Road, on the south
side of East Scottsdale Road, south of Lodi.
This project will require the conversion of Multi-Purpose Open Space habitat and as such should
condition the project applicant(s) to participate in the SJMSCP.
If you have any questions, please give me a call at 009) 4rJQ_zo1 z
