LOctober 27, 2005 NOA Project Number: E05130A L2.2 Aerial Photographs Aerial photographs depicting the subject property dated 1937,1952,1963,1975 and 1983 were reviewed L at the San Joaquin County Surveyor's Office in Stockton, California.' Two additional photos, dated 1993 and 2002,were obtained from Microsoft Terraserver.4 L In the 1937 photo, the subject property appears to be a vacant field. An irrigation canal crosses the southeast corner of the property diagonally. Irrigation canals or field roads are apparent on the east side of the property. Surrounding properties include an orchard to the north, and crop land to the west, Lsouth,and east. In the 1952 photo,the subject property has been planted with orchard. There appear to be less trees L planted at the center of the property when compared to the east and west sides of the property. The irrigation canals or field roads are no longer apparent on the eastern side of the subject property. The land to the south and east has been planted with orchard, and a vineyard is apparent to the west LScattered building clusters are apparent on all sides of the property. In the 1963 photo, additional trees have been removed from the center of the property. The subject Lproperty and its immediate vicinity otherwise appear relatively unchanged from the previous photo. In the 1975 photo, the subject property appears to have been replanted with a new orchard. The Lproperty and its immediate vicinity otherwise remain relatively unchanged from the previous photo. In the 1983 photo,the irrigation canal crossing the southeast corner of the subject property is no longer L visible. More structures are apparent in the building cluster to the south. The subject property and its 2 immediate vicinity otherwise appear relatively unchanged from the previous photo. L In the 1993 photo,the field road at the southwest comer of the subject property curves in toward the property. New building clusters are apparent to the west. The land to the north appears to be used for row crops. The subject property and its immediate vicinity otherwise appear relatively unchanged from the previous photo. In the 2002 photo,the subject property and its immediate vicinity appear relatively unchanged from the previous photo. ` These photos are included in Appendix C of this report. NOA's ability to interpret the land uses is limited by the scale and quality of the photos.
