One 7.5-minute map dated 1991 was available through Microsoft 2 <br /> Terraserver. <br /> In the 1991 map, the subject property is depicted as an orchard located within an area of orchards, <br /> L vineyards,and agricultural land. An irrigation canal crosses the southeast corner of the subject property. <br /> The property is depicted as approximately 135 feet above mean sea level and sloping down to the <br /> northwest at a rate of approximately ten feet per mile. Scattered building clusters are depicted on all <br /> sides of the property. <br /> k This map is included in Appendix C of this report. <br /> 2.4 Interviews <br /> An attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the subject property <br /> from the property owner or key site manager of the property. An Environmental Questionnaire and <br /> Disclosure Statement was completed by Mr.Klump,owner of the subject property,on September 29, <br /> 2005. A copy of his responses has been included in this report as Appendix E. <br /> In his responses to the questionnaire,Mr.Klump indicated that he acquired the property in 2002 from <br /> Export Import Associates,Inc,which had owned the property 26 years. He indicated that the property <br /> has been used as an almond orchard since 1970; the current trees were planted in 2003. <br /> LMr. Klump stated that the residence on the property was constructed in 2003. He indicated that there <br /> have been no tanks, chemical storage, or chemical spills on the property. Roundup is applied to the <br /> Lalmond orchard,he noted. <br /> Mr. Klump has been the General Manager at Export Import Associates, Inc., located south of the <br /> subject property, for six years. Prior to purchasing the property,he discussed the property thoroughly <br /> with Export Import;no environmental issues came to light as a result of these discussions.' <br /> L3.0 PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF CONTAMINATION <br /> 3.1 Research Methods <br /> LNOA employs a standard practice for review of database information.
