Beard Property Page 6 <br /> Our Project Number: E07040A <br /> March 27, 2007 <br /> 3.1.7 Site Reconnaissance <br /> A visual reconnaissance of the subject property was conducted on March 22, 2007. <br /> Photographs of the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix B. A site <br /> visit/assessment checklist is attached to this report as Appendix D. <br /> The subject property was observed to be an office building, parking lot, and railroad <br /> easement. Trash and debris was observed along the railroad easement. The inside of the <br /> office building was not observed. <br /> Three pole-mounted transformers were observed along the eastern property boundary. Blue <br /> PCB-Free stickers were observed on the transformers. No staining was observed near the <br /> transformers. <br /> Surrounding properties were surveyed at the time of the site reconnaissance. To the north of <br /> the subject property was industrial buildings. To the south was Fremont Street. To the east <br /> was a mobile home park. To the west was Shaw Road, then Highway 99. <br /> 3.2 Past On-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> No potential above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination <br /> were identified from past uses of the site, except for the following: <br /> • Agricultural chemicals may have been applied to the subject property. <br /> 3.3 Current On-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> No above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were <br /> identified from current uses of the site, except for the following: <br /> • Minor amounts of trash observed on the property. <br /> 3.4 Past Off-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> No above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were <br /> identified from current uses of the site, except for the following: <br /> • Surrounding properties have had LUST cases <br /> 3.5 Current Off-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> No above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were <br /> identified from current uses of the site, except for the following: <br /> • Three LUST cases are currently open within a quarter mile of the subject property. <br /> NEIL O .
