The study was performed according to the requirements of
Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development Code.
The formatting of the report has been designed to follow the recommendations of the
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department as described in its Soil
Suitability Study Requirements Checklist.
Proposed Development
Z,:
A minor subdivision is proposed to divide the Site into a 2.55-acre Parcel 1 and a 2.00-
acre Parcel 2 (Plate 2). William Rand, owner of the Site, indicated that he intends to
keep Parcel 1 and sell Parcel 2.
Site Description
The Site consists of Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) 103-290-30, approximately 4.5
acres in size. It is located at 277 North Sibley Road, Stockton, California. The Site is
open, agricultural land with a house, two barns, and several smaller outbuildings. Water
is provided to the Site by a domestic well and an irrigation well (Plates 3 and 4).
The elevation of the Site, according to a United States Geological Survey topographic
map, is approximately 55 feet above mean sea level (Plate 5). The Site is relatively flat.
The San Joaquin County Community Development Department web site states that the
Site is zoned R-R, Rural Residential.
