%W .. INTRODUCTION The purpose of this project is to divide 13.14 acres into two parcels. The result will be one 8.14 acre parcel and one 5.00 acre parcel. In accordance with the San Joaquin County Development Title, this Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report (SSCR) is being submitted for approval. This report will investigate the property for visual or historical environmental contamination based on field observation and testimony from the owners. This SSCR includes no chemical analysis. A Condition of Approval for the Minor Subdivision will require percolation tests and groundwater tests from the wells. Those results will be included in the Soils Suitability Report. Proiect Description The project consists of a 13.14 acre parcel located at 23020 Sowles Road, Acampo, CA. The project is in a residential/farming community and is surrounded by agricultural land and private residences. The property is zoned Rural Residential. There is one existing home on the site. See Tentative Map included in the Appendix. Proiect History The primary source of information of the historical use of the property is testimony from the owner. Gordon Roget has owned the property for 7 years. This property and all surrounding properties have had basically consistent uses 1n the time Mr. Roget has owned the property. The property has an existing 3.8 acre walnut orchard in the north west corner of the property. This orchard has been abandon a sere as been no other farming on this property since the Rogets have owned it. The site does include two above ground propane tanks. There is not a record of underground fuel tank storage and the current property owners are not aware of any. Field Investisation The following information was obtained during a field investigation of the site as well as interviewing the property owners and tenants.
