Sowlcs Road <br /> Acampo, California <br /> Gentlemen: <br /> The following is a brief letter report of the soil suitability study for the subject project. <br /> I. PROPERTY DESCRIPTION 1q q -7A(,P-T <br /> The property covered by the subject application comprises approximately two hundred 200 <br /> acres located at 24740 N. Sowles Road in Acampo, California. The site is located in a portion <br /> of the southeast quarter of Section 11, Township 4 North, Range 7 East, Mount Diablo Base <br /> and Meridian. This property is zoned AL-5 (limited agricultural) with a General Plan <br /> designation of AL (limited agricultural). The topography of the site is generally flat. There <br /> are no significant waterways or drainage channels crossing the property. <br /> II. PURPOSE OF APPLICATION �/q,,q 7 AC t-&s <br /> The parcel is an approximate200- ire rectangular parcel with a house located on the <br /> northwest portion of the grope yrf along with a fenced horse corral and a small wooden shed <br /> with no foundation, It is planned to subdivide the parcel into three (3) 5-acre parcels and one <br /> (1) 4.97-acre parcel. A reduced copy of the Tentative Parcel Map is attached. <br /> III. PROPERTY HISTORY <br /> The property historically has been used as part of the homesite currently in existence. The <br /> remaining portions of the property are undeveloped and are not actively being used for <br /> agriculture. The house is currently on a septic system with leach lines that sits on the north <br /> ROBERT W. SiEGERILO side of the residence. The well, located on the southeast side of the residence, is a dual <br /> founder domestic/irrigation well and was drilled to approximately one hundred eighty feet (1$0'). <br /> There have been no problems with the current septic system or the wells. The neighboring <br /> WAYNE M. WEST parcels are also currently used for rural residence. There have been no problems reported with <br /> LEX A.
