ANDERSON ENVIRONMENTAL <br /> _ <br /> AN D ASSOCIATES INSPECTIONS aw TESTING <br /> LABORATORY SERVICES <br /> POOL ENGINEERING <br /> POST TENSION DESIGN <br /> June 4, 2004 <br /> NOA Project Number: E04065A <br /> SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> MINOR SUBDIVISION PA-04-44 <br /> 24951 NORTH SOWLES ROAD <br /> ACAMPO, CALIFORNIA <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> Our office was contracted by Dry Creek Realty of Galt to conduct a soil suitability study for <br /> the proposed minor subdivision located at 24951 North Sowles Road, Acampo, California. <br /> The Soil Suitability Study (SSS) was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for <br /> the use with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of <br /> Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development. A major element of the field <br /> work included conducting percolation tests that meet the required absorption rates as <br /> required by San Joaquin County Public Health Service Environmental Health Department <br /> _ (EHD)• <br /> In addition to conducting the percolation tests, a review of published soil information, <br /> _ geologic maps, and ground water information was performed to evaluate the suitability of <br /> soils for use with a septic system. A water sample was collected from a faucet at the on-site <br /> domestic water well and was tested for nitrate and DBCP. <br /> This report has been formatted to correspond to the EHD's SSS Requirements Checklist, <br /> dated July 14, 2003. <br /> r <br /> 1 <br /> 6.
