E . # 11584 <br /> 418 Matthew Plaza <br /> Lodi , California 95240 <br /> Phone : ( 209 ) 368-4159 <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Service <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> Subject : Soil Suitability Study on the Reinhold Seifert property <br /> consisting of dividing out 10 acres from a larger 157 <br /> acres parcel . <br /> Submitted for your review and consideration are the results of <br /> Soil Profile and Percolation tests conducted on the Reinhold <br /> Seifert property located at 26011 North Sowles Road , Acampo , <br /> California . <br /> Existing Septic System: <br /> Existing San Joaquin County records were reviewed for the <br /> subject property as well as the area in the immediate vicinity of <br /> the subject property . The soils recorded in the records studied <br /> varied from sandy loam to hard pan . A total of twelve permits were <br /> reviewed and the septic systems were installed between September <br /> 1969 and February 1989 . Two permits were found for the subject <br /> property . One consisted of adding 50 feet of leach line and a 48" <br /> diameter by 25 ' deep pit and the other was a change consisting of <br /> instal 1 i ng 80 f eet of leach 1 i ne and a 33" by 25 ' deep pit . Ten <br /> permits were studied for other properties in the general area . <br /> Three of the permits were for additions to existing systems and the <br /> remaining seven were for initial installations . All of the noted <br /> facilities involved leach line in combination with pit <br /> construction . <br /> No failures or repairs were noted on these facilities since <br /> their installation . <br /> Existing Land Use : <br /> The land immediately to the south of the subject 10 acres is <br /> being used for a mobile home site and a shop facility . The rest of <br /> the land surrounding the subject 10 acres is presently devoted to <br /> agricultural pursuits . <br /> Reinhold Seifert MS-92- 1 <br />
