• CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
In summary, the soil conditions in the percolation test location appear to be suitable for
use with an on-site septic system. A satisfactory soil percolation rate of 2.6 min/in was
observed in the test location.
The depth of ground water based on recent aquifer levels is estimated to range between
120 to 125 feet below ground surface. The ground-water flow is to the northwest at a
rate of approximately six feet per mile.
A water sample was collected from the domestic water well. Nitrate was detected in the
sample at a concentration of 5.4 mg/L-N, well below the MCL of 10 mg/L-N. DBCP was
not detected in the sample.
We believe the Site suitable for the use of a standard septic system utilizing leach lines
and seepage pits. No new construction is anticipated.
•
•
LOGE 1710 Page 8
