The assessors parcel number for the subject parcel is (APN)
055-160-48.
The Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study was conducted to determine if the area is
suitable for the addition of a new septic system. The study was performed according to the
requirements of Section 9-1105.2(d)of the San Joaquin County Development. Major elements of
the field work included one 10-foot exploratory soil boring, one in-situ percolation test, and one
ground water nitrate and DBCP test. An examination of the field work results, nitrate loading
analysis, published soil information, geologic maps, and available ground water information was
used to evaluate the suitability of soils and the potential impact of the septic system to the ground
water. This report presents the results of our study.
H. PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT
The parcel is located on the south side of State Route Hwy 12 approximately 1 mile east
of Interstate 5. The 32.4 acre parcel is primarily used by Alegre Trucking as a commercial
trucking and maintenance facility. A undeveloped portion of the parcel, located in the southwest
comer, is to be used for the proposed FTG Construction Materials office, storage, and equipment
maintenance facility. The proposed construction will include a new septic system, new water
well, several new buildings and a vehicle scale. The new septic system and water well will serve
the needs of the proposed project. The trucking facility uses a separate septic system and water
well. A home is also located on the parcel and uses a separate septic system and water well.
