PRESENT AND PAST USE OF THE SITE <br /> The 32.4 acre parcel primarily serves a trucking facility that possess about 70 tractor- <br /> semi-trailer trucks and a maintenance building with offices. A Nextel telephone transmission <br /> station is located in the southwest comer near the irrigation ditch and existing storm pond. <br /> An interview with Mr. Tony Alegre was conducted to determine the history of the site and <br /> the number and condition of existing septic systems and water wells on the site. The 32.4 acre <br /> site was purchased by Frank Alegre in approximately 1988 from the Burgett Family. The property <br /> was used by the Burgett Family for agricultural purposes but sat fallow in the late 198Ws prior to <br /> purchase by Frank Alegre. The septic systems have been performing adequately and there have <br /> been no problems with the water well systems. <br /> IV. SURROUNDING USAGE <br /> The site is bounded by State Route Hwy. 12 to the north and by an irrigation canal to the <br /> south. Agricultural land and vineyards exist throughout the area. Phillips Farms Produce Store is <br /> located east a short distance from the subject property. <br /> The following interviews were conducted with available persons who reside near the <br /> subject property and have knowledge of septic system and water well performance: <br /> OCCUPANT: Ms.Brenda Burrel, renting home. <br /> LOCATION: 5184 W. Hwy.12. <br /> SEPTIC SYSTEM: Underground septic system, no problems with septic system. <br /> WATER WELL: No problems with water well. <br /> OWNER: Mr.Dave Phillips, owner for 25 years. <br /> LOCATION: 4550 W.Hwy 12. <br /> SEPTIC SYSTEM: Underground system with 3 leach lines,no dry wells. <br /> System is occasionally pumped due to grease from fruit stand. <br /> WATER WELL: Water tested monthly, no known problems. <br /> OWNER: Mr.Phillips,Father of Dave Phillips. <br /> LOCATION: 4580 W.Hyw 12 <br /> SEPTIC SYSTEM: Underground system with 2 leach lines 50 and 100 feet,unknown dry wells. <br /> WATER WELL: No known problems with water well.No details known. <br /> roa• <br /> 4 <br /> s <br /> e <br /> � IfinV <br />
