C. The Water Supply Facilities Impact Mitigation Fee will be required for this development. <br /> The fee is due and payable prior to issuance of the building permit. The fee currently is <br /> $333.00 per 1,000 gross square feet of building designated as Retail Service. The fee <br /> shall be automatically increased on January 1 of each year through the year 2005 at the <br /> rate of 7.66 percent. AIR POLLUTION CONTROL DISTRICT: (Staff Contact: Tracy Roemer, 545-7000) <br /> a. An Authority to Construct(ATC)and Permit to Operate(PTO) will be required for this type <br /> of use. The applicant is advised to contact the Permit Services Division to obtain <br /> appropriate approvals prior to construction. <br /> b. This project is subject to District Regulation VIII (Fugitive Dust Prohibitions). The purpose <br /> of Regulation VIII is to reduce the amount of fine particulate matter(PM-10) entrained into <br /> the ambient air from man-made sources. Specifically,the rules within Regulation VIII that <br /> apply to this project are Rule 8010 (Administrative Requirements) and Rule 8020 <br /> (Construction, Demolition, Excavation, and Extraction Activities). <br /> C. Rule 8030 (Handling and Storage of Bulk Materials), Rule 8060 (Paved and Unpaved <br /> Roads, and Rule 8070 (Parking, Shipping, Receiving,Transfer, Fuel, and Service Areas) <br /> may apply to this project depending on construction practices employed at this site. <br /> 5. CALTRANS: (Staff Contact: Chris Sayre, 948-7142) <br /> a. The existing driveway will have to be upgraded to Caltrans commercial driveway <br /> standards.
