2 -
San Joaquin County July 2 , 1992
Public Health Services
Attention: Mr. Jim Miller
Subject: Minor Subdivision Application
No. MS 92-78
Soil Suitability Study (Cont'd)
Also attached is a copy of a water analysis performed June 24 ,
1992 on a neighboring well located immediately east of the subject
property at 22401 East Highway 26. The results for the nitrate and
DBCP levels were found to be acceptable.
Within a radius of one-fourth (1,) mile of the subject property,
there are three (3) existing residences and a small restaurant. There
is no history of septic system failures in this area. It is the
opinion of the undersigned that the soil conditions are suitable for
the purpose of the subject Application, which is to create a 10. 00-
acre site for a proposed residence and septic system, leaving an
18 . 85-acre remainder parcel which will be continued in the present
agricultural usage.
In consideration of the fact that the subject minor subdivision
application will provide for a maximum of two (2) additional new
septic tank systems, it is the opinion of the undersigned that the
subject application will not have an adverse cumulative effect on the
quality of the groundwater in the area. Our professional opinion is
that the above findings and statements do not constitute either an
expressed or implied guarantee or warranty.
Very truly yours,
QROVHS/ -
O SRT G.
