No more than one additional free-standing freeway sign <br /> up to 35 feet above the grade of the adjacent freeway <br /> may be installed to advertise the uses within the <br /> subdivision. Monument signs may also be installed at <br /> each entrance to the site. All signs visible from the <br /> freeway will require a permit from Caltrans' outdoor <br /> Advertising Section in Sacramento. <br /> The following additional conditions may also apply: <br /> 1. All areas not used for buildings, parking, driveways, <br /> walkways, or other permanent facilities shall be <br /> landscaped. The following specific standards must be <br /> met: <br /> a. A minimum of 15 percent of the net site area shall <br /> be landscaped. <br /> b. A minimum ten-foot-wide planting strip is required <br /> along adjacent streets. The strip shall be <br /> continuous except where crossed by driveways. <br /> 2 . The following landscaping is required in the open <br /> parking areas: <br /> a. A minimum five percent of the area must be <br /> landscaped. <br /> b. One tree is required for each 10 parking stalls, <br /> or portion thereof. Trees must be selected from <br /> the County' s Approved Tree List. <br /> C. A minimum 10 foot-wide landscaped strip is <br /> required along the public streets. <br /> d. Planters which abut parking stalls shall be a <br /> minimum of five-feet-wide. A minimum 18-inch-wide <br /> paved strip shall be added to the adjacent parking <br /> stall to allow access to and from vehicles. <br /> 3 . All parking spaces, driveways, and maneuvering areas <br /> must be paved and permanently maintained with asphalt <br /> or cement. Bumper guards must be provided where <br /> necessary to protect adjacent structures or properties. <br />
