The Grupe Company Page 6
January 21,2013
Option 1 assumes ten additional fast-food restaurants and approximately 70,000 sq. ft. of retail uses. The
total trip generation for this option is 27,126 daily trips, 2,094 AM peak hour trips and 2,174 PM peak
hour trips. This equates to a 1,000 percent increase in trips compared with the EIR alternative, and
approximately a 500 percent increase in trips as compared to the proposed travel stop project.
Based upon this significant increase in trip generation this alternative would result in a significant
deterioration in intersection LOS conditions as compared to the proposed project LOS conditions.
Option 2:Retail uses for remainder of land
Option 2 assumes two fast-food restaurants totaling 6,000 sq. ft., a grocery store at 25,000 sq. ft and
general retail store at 85,495 sq. ft.
