r.
October 2,2006
NOA Project Number: E06102A
- ✓3.4 Past Off-Site Sources of Contamination
No above-or below-ground potential or known sources of contamination to the subject property were
L. identified from past uses of surrounding properties, except for the following:
• Surrounding properties have been used for agriculture in the past;agricultural chemicals may
6. have been applied to these properties.
• Four leaking underground storage tanks were identified within one-quarter mile of the subject
property.
• Five hazardous materials incidents took place within one-quarter mile of the subject property.
6.
13.5 Current Off-Site Sources of Contamination
L. No above-or below-ground potential or known sources of contamination to the subject property were
identified from current uses of the surrounding properties, except for the following:
L. Surrounding properties are used for agriculture;agricultural chemicals may be applied to these
properties.
L Drums and debris were observed in the yard of the residence to the west; based on the
orientation of the drums, they appeared to be empty.
.0 EVALUATION OF IDENTIFIED CONTAMINATION SOURCES
Based on the past agricultural use of the land, agricultural chemical residues may remain on the property.
No evidence was found, however, to indicate that any chemicals were applied inappropriately.
Based on the regulatory status, distance to the subJrs t prQprrM and analytical data reviewed, it is nit
` anticipated that the four leaking underground storage tank cases within one-quarter mile of the subject
pr2Eerty have i acted the property at this time.
j` Due to the dates, nature of the incidents and cleanup procedures followed, the environmental impact
to the subject property from the hazardous materials incidents within one-quarter mile of the subject
property is expected to be minimal.
The drums and debris to the west of the subject property do not appear likely to impact the subject
property at this time.
L
The debris and abandoned vehicle on the subject property do not appear to pose a significant
environmental hazard at this time.
9
6.
