a, <br /> (2) All future building permits for projects located with a Special Flood Hazard Area at the time of <br /> permit issuance shall meet the San Joaquin County flood hazard reduction requirements <br /> (Title 9, Chapter 9-1605) and all requirements of the State of California (CCR Title 23)that <br /> are in force at the time of permit issuance. As an example, these requirements may include <br /> raising the finish floor elevation one foot above the expected flood level and/or using flood <br /> resistant materials. <br /> 3. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT Staff Contact: Ted Tasio oulos 953-7698 <br /> a. A soil suitability/nitrate loading study incorporating proposed staff and customer use shall be <br /> submitted to Environmental Health indicating that the area is suitable for septic system usage. <br /> The studies must be approved by Environmental Health prior to system usage. The studies must <br /> be approved by Environmental Health prior to issuance of building permits (Development Title <br /> Section 9-1105.2[d]). A review fee of$610.00 must be paid at the time of submittal to <br /> Environmental Health. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on-site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of septic <br /> tank practice or the EPA Design Manual for on-site waste water treatment and disposal systems <br /> is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$122.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> b. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane (DBCP) <br /> and nitrates with the results submitted to Environmental Health prior to issuance of building <br /> permits. Samples are to be taken and analyzed for a State approved laboratory. (Development <br /> Title Section 9-1115.7) <br /> c. Construction of an individual sewage disposal system under permit and inspection by <br /> Environmental Health is required at the time of development based on the Soil Suitability/Nitrate <br /> Loading Study findings. (Development Title Sections 9-1110.3 and 9-1110.4) <br /> d. Should the number of non-resident individuals exceed 24 for at least 60 days per year, or the <br /> number of service connections exceed four, a yearly permit to operate a public water system will <br /> be required by Environmental Health. (Development Title Sections 9-1120.2 and 9-1115.9) <br /> The supplier must possess adequate financial, managerial, and technical capability to ensure the <br /> delivery of pure, wholesome, and potable drinking water in accordance with San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title Sections 9-1120.2 and 9-1115.9, CCR Title 22, and Health and Safety Code <br /> Sections 116525 through 116570. <br /> i <br /> w <br /> Conditions of Approval -4- PA-1000273 <br />
