Z
KLE/NFELOER
BilgM1lhople.a9f blu Nam.
would prove to be costly, that would have little to no effect on the contaminant plume, and
decreasing trends of contaminants in groundwater that have occurred since 1993. The
SJCEHD subsequently issued an October 31, 2006 letter indicating that no further action was
required.
The former USTs were located approximately 425 feet southwest of the southern portion of
Parcel 3 of the Site, and in a cross-gradient direction with respect to the direction of
groundwater flow. Based on the direction of this facility from the Site and the no further action
status of the facility, it is not considered a REC. A copy of the information reviewed is presented
in Appendix C.
4.3.7 State Department of Toxic Substances Control
Kleinfelder reviewed the DTSC EnviroStor online database on October 17, 2016 for information
pertaining to the Site and adjoining properties. Neither the Site nor adjoining properties were
listed in the EnviroStor database. A copy of the EnviroStor search results is provided in
Appendix C.
4.4 PHYSICAL SETTING SOURCE(S)
Table 4-2 presents information concerning the physical setting of the Site. This information was
obtained from published maps.
Table 4-2
Physical Setting
Data General Information
USGS TOPOGRAPHIC Based on a review of the United States Geological Survey (USGS)
QUADRANGLE Lathrop, California 7.5-Minute Series (Topographic) Quadrangle Map
dated 1996, the Site is located at an approximately elevation of 18 feet
above mean sea level (msl). The topographic relief of the Site is relatively
flat, sloping gently toward the west.
SOIL TYPE The Site is underlain by alluvial fan deposits (Wagner, 1991). Based on
the EDR Radius Map Physical Setting Source Summary of information
obtained from Soil Conservation Service SSURGO data, soil types
beneath the Site consist of: "Veritas' a fine sandy loam, "Honcut' a sandy
loam, and"Tinnin"a loamy coarse sand (EDR, 2016a).
20172543.001A/ST016R49461 Page 24 of 54 November 2, 2016
0 2016 Kleinfelder vvrwi.kleinfelder.com
