KLE/NFELOEF7
M'9tlthopk.Mi9tll b/utlwu.
Table 4-3 (continued)
Regional Geology and Hydrogeology
Physical Parameter Information/Comments
REGIONAL The majority of the groundwater in the basin is characterized by calcium-
GROUNDWATER magnesium bicarbonate or calcium-sodium bicarbonate types.
QUALITY PROBLEMS Bicarbonate is the predominant anion in the eastern part of the basin.
Large areas of chloride type water occur along the western margin of the
subbasin along the San Joaquin River. As a result of declining water
levels, poor quality water has been moving east along a 16-mile front on
the east side of the Delta. The degradation was particularly evident in the
Stockton area where the saline front was moving eastward at a rate of
140 to 150 feet per year. Data from 1980 and 1996 indicate that the saline
front has continued to migrate eastward up to about one mile beyond its
1963 extent. Large areas of elevated nitrate in groundwater exist within
the subbasin located southeast of Lodi and south of Stockton and east of
Manteca extending towards the San Joaquin — Stanislaus County line
(CDWR, 2006).
WATER SUPPLY Water is supplied to the Site by Stockton City Water.
FLOOD ZONE According to The EDR Radius MapTm Report with GeoCheck®, the Site is
DESIGNATION not located within a 100-year or 500-year flood zone(EDR, 2016a).
Groundwater flow direction is based on regional information sources. Site-specific conditions may vary due to
a variety of factors including geologic anomalies, utilities, nearby pumping wells if present), and other factors.
4.5 USER PROVIDED INFORMATION
According to the Client, the purpose for performing this Phase I ESA is to evaluate the potential
for RECs at the Site prior to proposed lot line changes and proposed improvements to an
existing truck shop facility. Information regarding the current owners/occupants of the Site is
summarized in Table 4-4.
Table 4-4
Owner / Occupant Information
Entity Name
OWNER According to EDR (http:/Iedrnet.com/), the Site parcels are owned by
Howard Land Co. LP.
OCCUPANT(S) Delta Truck Center (repairs diesel engines) occupies Parcel 1 of the
Site. Parcel 3 is currently unoccupied.
Summaries of interviews of key individuals with knowledge of the Site ("Key Site Managers")
are provided in Section 7. The following sections present information provided to Kleinfelder by
the Client.
20172543.001A/ST016R49461 Page 26 of 54 November 2, 2016
©2016 Kleinfelder ew Aleinfelder.com
