The first application is for a General Plan Map <br /> Amendment Application to change the six parcels of 105 acres from General Agriculture (A/G) to Low- <br /> Density Residential (R/L), expanding the Urban Community of Lockeford to include the 105 acre site. <br /> The second application is a Zone Reclassification to reclassify the same 105 acres from AG-40 <br /> (General Agriculture, 40-acre minimum) to AU-20 (Agriculture-Urban Reserve, 20 acre minimum). The <br /> project is located adjacent to Lockeford, 300' southwest of Hammond Street on the east side of Tully <br /> Road — Northeast of Lodi. <br /> The current use of the land includes several vineyards and flat agricultural land. The parcels to the <br /> north and south have a General Plan designation of Low-Density Residential (R/L). Parcels located <br /> east of the site have an Elementary School on site and to the west have vineyards and have a General <br /> Plan designation of General Agriculture (A/G). <br /> Approval Process <br /> In order to approve the General Plan Amendment (PA-0300573) the Board of Supervisors shall <br /> determine that the internal consistency of the General Plan is maintained in the adoption of the <br /> proposed General Plan Amendment (Development Title Section 9-803.4). This means that the <br /> proposed change must be consistent with all of the various General Plan goals, policies and objectives. <br /> In order to approve the Zone Reclassification (PA-0500807) the Board of Supervisors shall determine <br /> the following statements are true: <br /> (a) The proposed zone is consistent with the General Plan, any applicable Master Plan, and any <br /> applicable Specific Plan; and <br /> (b) The proposed zone district is reasonable and beneficial at the time (Development Title Section <br /> 9-812.4) <br /> l <br />
