SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> Introduction <br /> Live Oak GeoEnvironmental, Inc (Live Oak) was contracted by Greg Bums to conduct a <br /> Soil Suitability Study for the his Spenker Ranch property located at 2651 West Turner <br /> Road, Lodi, California (Plate 1). 3� <br /> The Soil Suitability Study was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for <br /> use with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of <br /> Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development code. <br /> The formatting of the report has been designed to follow the recommendations of the <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department as described in its Soil <br /> Suitability Study Requirements Checklist. <br /> Proposed Development <br /> The proposed project is a minor subdivision to split the Site into two new 40-acre (/.7-) <br /> parcels and a designated remainder (Plate 2). Mr. Burns indicated that he has no plans <br /> to change the land uses. <br /> r Site Description <br /> �J The Site, Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) 013-050-19, is approximately 160 acres in <br /> size. The Site consists of vineyard. An irrigation well supplies water to the Site. A Z /) <br /> recent aerial photograph of the Site is included as Plate 3. ..Lo) <br /> The elevation of the Site, according to a United States Geological Survey topographic <br /> map, is approximately 27 to 30 feet above mean sea level (Plate 4). The Site <br /> topography is relatively flat. <br /> The San Joaquin County Community Development Department web site states that the <br /> Site is zoned AG-40, general agriculture with a minimum parcel size of 40 acres. This <br /> zoning designation "is established to preserve agricultural lands for the continuation of <br /> commercial agricultural enterprises." <br /> LOGE 1401 Page 1 <br />
