f. UNIFORM FIRE CODE REQUIREMENTS: The following Uniform Fire Code and San <br /> Joaquin County Ordinance Code requirements will be applicable and shall be <br /> incorporated in the construction plans before submittal to the Community Development <br /> Department for a building permit: <br /> (1) Fire flow will be provided for proposed buildings by the use of public water mains <br /> (Appendix III-A of the Uniform Fire Code). <br /> (2) Fire hydrants shall be supplied in accordance with Appendix III-B of the Uniform <br /> Fire Code. <br /> (3) Fire protection systems shall be installed according to Article 10 of the California <br /> Fire Code and the appropriate standards and guides adopted in Chapter 35 of <br /> the California Building Code and the California Electrical Code. <br /> (4) All valves controlling the water supply for automatic fire sprinkler systems and <br /> water flow switches shall be monitored in accordance with Section 904.3.1 of the <br /> California Fire Code. <br /> (5) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with Section 902.2 of the <br /> California Fire Code and the standards adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire <br /> Chiefs Association. <br /> (6) Fire department access to buildings shall be in accordance with Section 902.4. <br /> A knox box shall be installed according to fire department instructions. <br /> (7) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with the California Fire Code, <br /> Volume 2, Standard 10-1. <br /> (8) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations <br /> hazardous to life or property. An encroachment permit shall be required for work within the road right-of-way. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1145.4) <br /> b. The Traffic Impact Mitigation Fee will be required for this development. The fee is due <br /> and payable at the time of building permit application. The fee currently is 5141.37 per <br /> additional daily trip end generated in the Lodi area. The fee shall be automatically <br /> adjusted July 1 of each year by the Engineering Construction Cost Index as published <br /> by the Engineering News Record.
