09-28--' 11 08: 06 FROM-Dillon, & MurFhy Eng. 2093340723 T-488 P0004/0020 F-941 4.0 GROUNDWATER INFORMATION SECTION: 4,1 Description of the depth and gradient of groundwater in the general area: The depth to ground water in this area is approximately 20 feet according to the snap of"Lines of Equal Depth to Groundwater" published Spring, 1999, by the San Joaquin Coujity Flood Control and Water Conservation District. Gradient decends east to west. 4.2 Description/Discussion of any existing and/or potential groundwater contamination issues in the general location of the site: The concerns for groundwater contamination in this area are deemed moderate due to the depths involved. Insecticides, pesticides, and fertilizers typically do not impact groundwater at these depths,however, as with any agricultural area,there is always potential for contamination due to chemicals used in the farming operation. 4.3 Description of location,type and construction of well and location where water sample(s) were obtained: Water samples were taken from a spigot at the domestic well located at 6454 W. Trirner Road on July 18, 2011 by Mike Toy of Dillon & Murphy. 4.4 Description of constituents being tested for in the water sample: The water samples are being tested for nitrates and DBCP. 4.5 Description of hove sample was obtained, handled, stored,and transported to the lair: The water samples were obtained from the spigot at the well located at.6454 W. Turner Road. The samples were taken by Mike Toy of Dillon& Murphy, and driverx directly to Precision Enviro-Tech. The samples were taken and handled in accordance with Precision Enviro-Tech requirements. (See Appendix for test results). 4.6 Complete Chain of Custody document, including printed and signed name of third party sampler, condition of sample and date and time the sample was submitted to the lab. For Laboratory samplers, complete lahoratory report to include the above noted information: The complete chain of custody document is located in the Appendix. 5.0 SOIL PROFILE INFORMATION SECTION: 5.1 Site map showing location, with dimensions, of the soil profile pit on the parcel: (See Appendix.) 5.2 Description of soil profile pit including depth and dimensions: The shallow test holes were prepared per County Standards. The}toles were excavated to a depth of 42 inches and 8 inches in diameter. They were backfilled with 2 inches of "pea gravel." 5.3 Description of soil lithology as noted from test pit by appropriate professional using industry standard protocol: The soils in this area is classified as Acampo Sandy Loam and De'V'ries Sandy Loam as stated in the Soil Survey of San Joaquin County, California as provided by the United States Department.of Agriculture, Soil Conservation Service. 2 Y,IDMDOC12010110141SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY 09621 1.doc
