INTERVIEWS An attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the subject property from the property owner and the current tenant farmer. The objective of the interview process is to obtain information indicating recognized environmental conditions in connection with the proposed project site. An Environmental Questionnaire and Disclosure Statement was completed by Syble Evans(the property owner)and Richard hillips(the tenant farmer)of the subject property for use by NOA Environmental for this repies of these reports have been included in this E' ort. report as Appendix D. l5 Mrs. Syble Evans completed the questionnaire as the subject property owner. She lists the land uses F for the subject property as a residence and a farm. According to the questionnaire,the construction of the structures on the property was completed in July of 1999. The only discharged water from the property is that of a septic tank system, according to Mrs. Evans. The only agricultural chemicals F: that Mrs. Evans reports being used on the property is that of Roundup and Surflon. There was no other new, pertinent information offered in the questionnaire. E: Mr. Richard Phillips completed the questionnaire as the current tenant farmer ofthe subjectproperty. He lists the current use of the property as being an almond orchard. He also lists the property as being a clover pasture before 1980. According to Mr. Phillips who has lived in the area since 1939, the property to his best recollection had been a cattle pasture until it was converted to an orchard. Mr. Phillips also lists the uses of all the adjacent properties as the north and south being pasture,the west as being an almond orchard and the east as being a ranchette housing development. Under the F1 r question pertaining to pesticides and herbicides used on the subject property,Mr. Phillips mentions that a Mr. Donald Rodgers,Jr. has done the spraying of the subject property with both pesticides and herbicides. Mr. Phillips also says that he is unaware as to what types had been used on the subject property. Mr. Phillips does state that there have been no chemicals mixed on the subject property since before 1980 and that the spray used on the subject property was mixed at other locations. F VII.
