March I4,2002 <br /> NOA ENVIRONMENTAL PROHCT NUMBER LE01-383 <br /> VI. INTERVIEWS <br /> An attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the subject <br /> property from the property owner and the current tenant farmer. The objective of the interview <br /> process is to obtain information indicating recognized environmental conditions in connection with <br /> the proposed project site. An Environmental Questionnaire and Disclosure Statement was completed <br /> by Syble Evans(the property owner)and Richard hillips(the tenant farmer)of the subject property <br /> for use by NOA Environmental for this repies of these reports have been included in this <br /> E' ort. <br /> report as Appendix D. l5 <br /> Mrs. Syble Evans completed the questionnaire as the subject property owner. She lists the land uses <br /> F for the subject property as a residence and a farm. According to the questionnaire,the construction <br /> of the structures on the property was completed in July of 1999. The only discharged water from the <br /> property is that of a septic tank system, according to Mrs. Evans. The only agricultural chemicals <br /> F: that Mrs. Evans reports being used on the property is that of Roundup and Surflon. There was no <br /> other new, pertinent information offered in the questionnaire. <br /> E: Mr. Richard Phillips completed the questionnaire as the current tenant farmer ofthe subjectproperty. <br /> He lists the current use of the property as being an almond orchard. He also lists the property as <br /> being a clover pasture before 1980. According to Mr. Phillips who has lived in the area since 1939, <br /> the property to his best recollection had been a cattle pasture until it was converted to an orchard. <br /> Mr. Phillips also lists the uses of all the adjacent properties as the north and south being pasture,the <br /> west as being an almond orchard and the east as being a ranchette housing development. Under the <br /> F1 r question pertaining to pesticides and herbicides used on the subject property,Mr. Phillips mentions <br /> that a Mr. Donald Rodgers,Jr. has done the spraying of the subject property with both pesticides and <br /> herbicides. Mr. Phillips also says that he is unaware as to what types had been used on the subject <br /> property. Mr. Phillips does state that there have been no chemicals mixed on the subject property <br /> since before 1980 and that the spray used on the subject property was mixed at other locations. <br /> F <br /> VII. SITE VISIT/ASSESSMENT <br /> FA visual reconnaissance of the subject property was conducted prior to the compilation of this report. <br /> P P <br /> Photographs of the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix B.
