Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> A. Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability/nitrate loading study indicating <br /> that the area is suitable for septic tank usage, including animal waste. This must be <br /> performed prior to issuance of building permits or final occupancy approval (San Joaquin <br /> County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). A nitrate loading study is required and a <br /> review fee of$445.00 must be paid at time of submittal to Environmental Health <br /> Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$89.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> B. The number of poultry animals per acre shall not exceed an amount, which would preclude <br /> good waste- management-practices. Applicant is to contact the Central Valley Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board regarding filing a Waste Management Report to be approved by <br /> Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board and the Environmental Health <br /> Department (Porter-Cologne Water Quality Control Act, Chapter 4, Article 4, Section 13260- <br /> 13263). <br /> C. Applicant is to prepare a manure management plan outlining the handling of all bird(s) <br /> wastes and incorporating vector control measures.
