The first reason was <br /> to reduce the amount of dust generated by traffic from Verigin Road onto the State Route 99 East <br /> Frontage Road. The second reason was to prevent mud and rocks from being dragged onto li <br /> Road from project related traffic during the winter seasons. <br /> i: <br /> 99 East Frontage 9 <br /> State Route P 1 <br /> 9 <br /> At the Planning Commission meeting on June 20, 2002 a member of the Planning Commission I., <br /> recommended as a condition of approval, that a dust retardant be applied to Verigin Road once;l <br /> per year(Condition 1.k.(1)) to reduce dust. The Community Development Department has <br /> determined that Condition 1.k. (1) Will reduce potential dust impacts to less than significant and <br /> therefore, the paving of the first 100 feet of Verigin Road is unnecessary. In order to prevent <br /> traffic from dragging mud and rocksi onto the frontage road, the Department of Public Works will!. <br /> require the applicant to obtain an kencroachment permit. This will require the applicant to improve <br /> the ultimate right-of-way of State;Route 99 East Frontage Road to San Joaquin County standards <br /> from State Route 99 East Frontage Road to Verigin Road. it <br /> r <br /> •.iii.is i' <br /> The Site Approval application has.been tentatively scheduled for the Planning Commission <br /> hearing on January 15, 2004. The Community Development Department has reviewed the <br /> project and responses from other,agencies and will be recommending a six (6) month time is <br /> extension and the following changes to the conditions of approval for Site Approval PA-02-06. <br /> Site Approval Application No. PA-02-6 was approved by the San Joaquin County Planning <br /> Commission on . The effective date of approval is .
