To the south were residences, to the east was a vacant lot and residences and to the west was a vacant lot. 3.2 Past On-Site Sources of Contamination No potential above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from past uses of the site except for the following: • Possible structures existed on the property. 3.3 Current On-Site Sources of Contamination No above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from current uses of the site except for the following: • The property appears to be a popular dumping place. 3.4 Past Off-Site Sources of Contamination No above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from current uses of the site except for the following: • Hazardous materials were encountered within one quarter mile of the site. 3.5 Current Off-Site Sources of Contamination _ No above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from current uses of the site except for the following: • Large trash piles are adjacent to the subject property. 4.0 EVALUATION OF IDENTIFIED CONTAMINATION SOURCES The current amount of trash and debris on the adjacent property does not appear to pose an environmental threat to the subject property. Due to the locations and dates of the hazardous materials incidents within one-quarter mile of the property, as well as the nature of contamination in each case, any impact to the subject property from these incidents is anticipated to be minimal.
