R Development Committee -2- SA-96-12 b. APPROVED USE: This approval is for a church for up to 160 persons (use type: religious assembly, neighborhood) as shown on the Plan submitted March 19 , 1996. The uses are to take place in an existing 18, 000 square foot building. 8 ,200 square feet will be used for church storage. C. BUSINESS LICENSE: The applicant shall secure an approved Business License prior to the initiation of the use. The Business License may be applied for concurrently with the building permit application. (Section 7-1000 of the County Ordinance Code) d. pARKING: off-street parking shall be provided and comply with the following: (1) Aisles adjacent to perpendicular parking spaces shall be a minimum of 25 feet wide. (Development Title Section 1015.5[i] ) (2) All parking spaces, driveways, and maneuvering areas shall be surfaced and permanently maintained with base material of appropriate depth and asphalt concrete or Portland cement concrete to provide a durable, dust free surface. Bumper guards shall be provided when necessary to protect adjacent structures or properties. (Development Title Section 9-1015. 5) (3) A minimum of 54 parking spaces shall be provided, including 3 accessible spaces. (1 space is required for every 3 seats. ) (Development Title Section 9- 1015. 3) (4) one bicycle parking rack or storage device is required for every 20 parking spaces. (Development Title Section 9-1015.7) e. LIGHTING: Lighting shall be provided and comply with the following: (1) If the parking area is to be used at night, parking lot and security lighting shall be installed. (Development Title Section 9-1015. 5[g] ) (2) Any lighting shall be designed to confine direct rays to the premises. No spillover beyond the property lines shall be permitted except onto public thoroughfares, provided, however, that such light shall not cause a hazard to motorists. (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[g] [4] )
