LSeptember 9,2005
NOA Project Number: E05112A
L 3.0 EXISTING AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USAGE
3.1 Existing On-Site Septic Tank Usage
LAccording to Mike Bogetti (personal communication,August 25,2005), one septic system is
currently on the property. One permit was found on file with EHD for the address 34701 Welty
LRoad during file review on August 23, 2005. The permit is described below.
L3.2 On-Site Septic Permit History
One permit was found on file with EHD for the address 34701 Welty Road during file review on
L August 23,2005. The permit was a request for six percolation tests on July 11, 1990 for the Bogetti
Estates on 36.9 acres.
3.3 On-Site Septic Repair Permit History
i
No septic repair permits were found for the Site during file review at EHD on August 23,2005.
3.4 Existing Septic Tank Usage in the Vicinity
L In an attempt to determine the septic system density for the vicinity of the Site, our office reviewed
a 1993 aerial photograph of the subject property available from Microsoft Terraserver
(www.terraserver.microsoft.com). We counted the building clusters within one square mile of the
Site, and made the assumption that each building cluster has one septic system. Using this method,
Lwe determined that there are a minimum of 15 septic systems per square mile in the immediate
vicinity of the subject property.
LThe general use of the vicinity is farmland. There are few residences in the area.
3.5 Septic Permit History in the Vicinity
LThe following septic system permits were found for the vicinity of the Site during file review at
EHD on August 23,2005:
L
L
L
L
L 3 '-'44
L
