Other requirements may also apply. These <br /> requirements cannot be modified. <br /> A. Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability/nitrate loading study- <br /> incorporating number of parishioners and visitors usage, indicating that the area is <br /> suitable for septic tank usage. This must be performed prior to issuance of building <br /> permits (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). A nitrate <br /> loading study is required, and a review fee of$465.00 must be paid at time of <br /> submittal to Environmental Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San <br /> Joaquin County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of <br /> the manual of septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater <br /> treatment and disposal system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$93.00 per <br /> percolation hole is required. <br /> B. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical <br /> Dibromochloropropane (DBCP) and nitrates prior to issuance of building permit(s). <br /> Samples are to be taken and analyzed by a State-approved laboratory (San Joaquin <br /> County Development Title, Section 9-1115.7). <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
