THE MATERIAL IS IMPACTING SOIL, NO WATERWAYS. CALLER STATES THAT MULTIPLE POWER <br /> COMPANIES ARRIVED ON SCENE AND NO ONE CLAIMED OWNERSHIP OF THE PIPE. REPORTING PARTY HAS <br /> CONTACTED A CONTRACTOR FOR CLEANUP OF THE MATERIAL. SPILL OCCURRED AT APPROXIMATELY 11:30 <br /> AM 9/6/19. <br /> ORRECTIVE ACTIONS/ORDER: <br /> • Investigate and abate contamination under the oversite of the appropriate lead agency. <br /> IMMEDIATELY: <br /> -Perform a thorough investigation of the spill location's surrounding environment and of the proposed methods of <br /> clean-up, in order to prevent further contamination of the soil, and possibly the water table and nearby waterways. <br /> -Perform a thorough investigation of the spill impact to soil, and possibly the water table and nearby waterways, in <br /> order to perform a complete abatement of all contamination caused by this spill incident. <br /> • Submit copies of hazardous waste manifests/disposal records to the EHD. <br /> Within 30 days of waste disposal. <br /> • Other Correction <br /> Perform soil sampling after excavation is complete, and prior to backfilling, under the oversite of the appropriate lead <br /> agency. Provide all sample analytical results to the appropriate lead agency, prior to backfilling. <br /> COST RECOVERY: All EHD time associated with this Spill Response is billed to the responsible party at the current hourly <br /> rate.
