Lodi Program: HW <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> On site to conduct a routine hazardous waste inspection. <br /> Minor-Notice to Comply: #7, 11, 20, 27, 50, 52, 60, 61, 62, 63, 79, 83, 84, 85 <br /> #7 1 observed that waste is generated from the Trinco blasting cabinet. Kelly Powers explained that the <br /> waste generated from this equipment is placed into a garbage bag and then disposed of in the trash. A <br /> determination has not been made if this waste is a hazardous waste. Hazardous waste generators that <br /> generate waste must first make a Title 22 hazardous waste determination. Correct immediately. First <br /> make a title 22 hazardous waste determination and then dispose of the blast waste properly. <br /> #11 1 observed spilled oil at the loading dock, next to the used oil tank, and near the pumps for the water <br /> filter/aqua filter disk treatment area. The facility must be maintained to minimize the release of a <br /> hazardous waste. Correct immediately. Clean up the spilled oil and dispose of properly. Submit a copy <br /> of the disposal manifest to this office by 7-1-10. <br /> #20 1 observed an unlabeled five gallon bucket and two one gallon buckets of used oil at the loading <br /> dock, and a five gallon bucket of used 150-D hydraulic fluid at the UV light treatment area. Containers of <br /> hazardous waste must be labeled with 1. Hazardous Waste 2. generator name and address 3. Contents <br /> 4. physical state 5. hazardous properties 6. accumulation start date. Correct immediately. <br /> #27 1 observed an uncovered five gallon bucket and two one gallon buckets of used oil at the loading <br /> dock, a five gallon bucket of used 150-D hydraulic fluid at the UV light treatment area, and a pan with <br /> metal scraps and cutting oil in the white storage shed that is near the used oil tank. Containers of <br /> hazardous waste must be kept closed unless adding or removing hazardous waste. Correct <br /> immediately. <br /> #50 1 observed an unlabeled five gallon bucket and two one gallon buckets of used oil at the loading <br /> dock, and a five gallon bucket of used 150-D hydraulic fluid at the UV light treatment area, and a pan <br /> with metal scraps and cutting oil in the white storage shed that is near the used oil tank. Without an <br /> accumulation start it cannot be determined how long this waste has been here. Hazardous waste must <br /> be disposed of within 180 days of the accumulation start date. Correct immediately. Dispose of this <br /> waste properly and submit a copy of the disposal manifest to this office by 7-1-10- <br /> #52 1 did not observe documentation which identified who is the emergency coordinator and where is <br /> the location of spill control equipment. Small generators of hazardous waste must have a modified <br /> contingency plan. Correct immediately by using the provided form.
