INTERCONNECTION FACILITIES STUDY AGREEMENT,ATTACHMENT C <br /> LODI ENERGY CENTER <br /> • Three phase fault at Gold Hill Substation 230 kV bus, with <br /> normal clearing time. <br /> • Three phase fault at Eight Mile Road 230 kV bus, Section E, <br /> with normal clearing time followed by the loss of Eight Mile <br /> Road—Stagg 230 kV and Eight Mile Road—Tesla 230 kV Line. <br /> 7.6 Deliverability Assessment <br /> A Deliverability Assessment will be performed to determine the <br /> Project's ability to deliver its energy to the CAISO Controlled Grid <br /> under peak load conditions. The Deliverability Assessment will <br /> provide the IC with information as to the level of deliverability without <br /> Network Upgrades, and the required Network Upgrades for <br /> delivering the full output of the Project. The Deliverability <br /> Assessment will provide: <br /> • Deliverability level with no Network Upgrades <br /> • Required Network Upgrades to support 100% deliverability <br /> CAISO will conduct the Deliverability Assessment in accordance <br /> with Section 3.3.3 of the LGIP. <br /> 7.7 Substation Evaluation <br /> The substation evaluation will identify any existing equipment <br /> requiring upgrades to mitigate overstress or overload caused by the <br /> Project. <br /> 7.8 Transmission Line Evaluation <br /> PG&E's transmission line evaluation will identify any existing <br /> transmission lines or equipment requiring upgrades to mitigate <br /> overload or overstress caused by the Project. <br /> 8. Interconnection System Impact Study Results <br /> Based on the results form this System Impact Study, mitigation will be <br /> provided. <br /> Interconnection9. o. <br /> The IFAS will provide the cost estimates and work scope for: (1) Interconnection <br /> Facilities required to interconnect the Project to the CAISO Controlled Grid and (2) <br /> Network Upgrades required to mitigate the system impacts caused by the Project. <br /> The specific studies conducted in the IFAS are: <br /> 9 <br />
