INTRODUCTION/SUMMARY <br /> American Environmental Management Corporation (AEMC) was retained <br /> by Beck Development to investigate the possibility that an old <br /> oil storage facility existed on their property southeast of <br /> Tracy, California. AEMC located the concrete surface impound— <br /> ment, which had been covered with soil and farmed for many years. <br /> Five borings were made down to the concrete. Analyses of the <br /> samples revealed petroleum product in two of the five borings. <br /> Further work is recommended to detect groundwater contamination, <br /> if any , and to determine the groundwater gradient. <br /> i <br />
