IN-SITU GROUND WATER SAMPLE COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS
A grab ground water sample will be collected at the water-table depth and analyzed to determine the
lateral extent of impacted ground water. The groundwater sample will be analyzed by a DHS-
certified laboratory for:
• TPH-av in accordance with EPA Methods 8020, 5030 and 8015 Modified;
• BTEX with MTBE in accordance with EPA Method 602/8020;
• DIPE, ETBE, MTBE, TAME, and TBA in accordance with EPA Method 8260 Modified;
and
• EDB and 1,2-DCA in accordance with EPA Method 8260.
Laboratory reports for ground water analyses,testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality
control (QA/QC)reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a report
with the findings and recommendations.
3.4. HYDROCARBON MASS CALCULATION
Upon completion of field work, if appropriate, the data gathered will be utilized to determine an
approximate mass of residual hydrocarbons in soil and ground water.
3.5. REPORT PREPARATION
Upon completion of field work and receipt of final laboratory analysis, a report will be prepared
presenting the findings of the investigation. The report will include a description of the work
performed and results of the sampling and analysis. Conclusions and applicable recommendations
will be included in the report. The report will be in a format acceptable to the PHS-EHD and the
CVRWQCB, and will be reviewed and signed by a California Registered Geologist.
Advanced Geo Environmental,Inc.
