(AGE) has prepared <br /> a well destruction work plan reportfor 23987 North Highway 99,Acampo, California.Three <br /> monitoring wells were installed at the site on 26 June 2000, wells (MW-1 through MW-3) <br /> have been installed on-site as part of the ongoing subsurface investigation. Boring logs— ()&t <br /> documenting observations and well construction details of the wells have been included } <br /> in Appendix B. Based on results from historical investigations (soil and ground water <br /> sampling) well MW-3 is not impacted with petroleum hydrocarbons and currently is dry. <br /> Analytical results of soil and first ground water samples is summarized in attached Tables. <br /> PROCEDURES <br /> All wells, pressure grouted, will be destroyed in accordance with the SJCEHD Standards <br /> For Well Construction and Destruction. As required, a health and safety plan will be <br /> prepared in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Guidance Manual for <br /> Hazardous Waste Site Activities (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health <br /> Administration, U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, 1985). Prior <br /> to drilling activities, each proposed drilling location will be clearly marked and an utility <br /> clearance obtained through Underground Service Alert. <br /> Prior to destruction activities, wells(will be checked for total depth and integrity using a <br /> Solinst water level meter. Any obstructions found in the well will be removed. The well box <br /> and cap will be removed to expose the well casing of well MW-3.
