1 <br />' Additional Site Assessment and Quarterly Report - Second Quarter 2002 <br /> LODI AIRPORT <br />' 23987 North Highway 99,Acampo, California 95220 <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> t At the request of Mr Robert Kupka of Lodi Airport,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE)has <br /> prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 23987 North Highway 99, Acampo, <br /> California (site) The scope of work included advancement of two soil bonngs, quarterly ground <br /> t water monitoring and preparation of this report The location of the site and the immediately <br /> surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1, structures, former UST locations,monitoring well and <br /> soil boring locations are illustrated on Figure 2 Background information is summarized in the <br />' Preliminary Site Assessment Work Plan dated 23 February 2000 and Underground Storage Tank <br /> Removal Report dated 11 January 2000, both prepared by AGE <br />' 2.0. BACKGROUND <br />' On 23 February 2000, at the request of Mr Robert Kupka, AGE performed a preliminary site <br /> assessment to investigate a suspected unauthorized release of petroleum hydrocarbons to soil and <br /> ground water at the site The laboratory results of analyses of samples confirmed the presence of a <br />' petroleum hydrocarbon-impact to soil and ground water in the former UST area The San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department (EHD) subsequently required an investigation to <br /> determine the extent of petroleum hydrocarbon-impact to soil and ground water <br />' Three ground water monitoring wells were installed on 21 and 22 June 2000, anduarterlYg round <br /> q <br /> water monitoring was initiated on 05 July 2000,to date there have been six ground water monitoring <br />' events at the site <br />' 3.0. PROCEDURES <br />' Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines established by the California Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board-Central Valley Region for investigation of underground storage tank <br /> (UST) sites. <br /> 3 1 SOIL BORING ADVANCEMENT <br /> On 12 December 2001, two soil borings (B-5 and B-6) were advanced at the site using a CME-75 <br /> (H T )drill rig Soil boring procedures were performed as outlined in the AGE-prepared Work Plan <br />' Addendum - June 2001, and as approved by the EHD by letter dated 12 June 2001 Soil boring <br /> . locations are shown on Figure 2 <br /> r <br /> Advanced CeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> I <br />
