First, this
week we received word from Forward Landfill that they would accept the
staged soil for a reasonable price. We have, therefore, made arrangements
to commence removal on Monday, November 20, 1989. Side wall samples were
taken on Wednesday, November 1, 1989 and the verbal lab report will be
available on Wednesday, November 15, 1989. Unfortunately, the soil in
grids G & E, in the corner of the impoundment, was too hard for the
engineer to penetrate with a hand auger. Further sampling of soil in this
corner will , therefore, have to be done when appropriate equipment is
available.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call . Thanks for
your support.
Sincerely,
DALLAS CORPORATION
Alan R. Bashor
Vice President
Human Resources
ARB:db
cc: C. Carter
J.
