(O/LDC) , SAN <br /> JOAQUIN CO. , TPCA #05114 <br /> The hydrogeological assessment report (HAR) for the O/LDC surface <br /> impoundment identified waste constituents at levels of concern in <br /> ground water beneath the site. Due to the need for continued <br /> monitoring of the extent and migration of contaminants in ground <br /> water, and the difficulty in obtaining timely reporting of <br /> monitoring results, we are working on preparing a ground water <br /> monitoring and technical reporting program for the site, to be <br /> proposed to our Regional Board. <br /> Enclosed is a preliminary draft of the technical elements of a <br /> monitoring program for the O/LDC site. Although we realize this <br /> draft will reach you on rather short notice, we hope to discuss <br /> and negotiate the details of monitoring requirements during our <br /> meeting scheduled for 16 June 1988.
