The purpose of the <br /> inspection was to observe confirmation sampling of the excavated surface <br /> impoundment. <br /> We understand that the Department of Health Services (DHS) is completing a risk <br /> assessment for the impoundment, based on the remaining concentrations of nickel <br /> and zinc. According to Linda Hogg, we should receive DHS's assessment by the end <br /> of July 1990. We are also looking forward to receiving your report on this past <br /> round of confirmation sampling.
