Kleinfelder do Associates (Kleinfelder) has been contracted to provide <br /> environmental consultant services to Overhead/Lodi Door. These services are in <br /> response to the DOHS administrative order, dated June 24, 1985, and to provide a <br /> hazardous waste management plan which will guide the company in maintaining sta- <br /> tutory compliance with the State's hazardous and environmental regulations. Our <br /> proposed services would consist of the following tasks: <br /> Task 1 - Action Plan Development and Preparation of RCRA Part A Application <br /> Kleinfelder has developed an action plan to demonstrate Overhead/Lodi Door's <br /> intent to comply with the DOHS's administrative order. The Part A application <br /> has been completed. A letter dated October 11, 1985 has been sent to the DOHS <br /> notifying that Overhead/Lodi Door is initiating action to comply with the order, <br /> and to request a meeting to clearly establish a realistic schedule for <br /> compliance with cited violations. At the meeting the Part A application and a <br /> proposed work plan will be presented with specific time schedules for various <br /> program elements. The plan and schedule will be finalized in close coordination <br /> with the agencies. <br /> Task 2 - Evaluation of the Facility Operation and Historical Practice <br /> An evaluation of the facility operation and historical practices will be con- <br /> ducted. Work elements may include examination of all hazardous waste records, <br />
