RECOMMENDATIONS
IBased on findings in this Phase I investigation, there is no
significant evidence of impact from the pond that received
process waste waters. However, to confirm the findings in the
Phase I investigation, the following actions are recommended:
1 . Collect a second round of monitoring well water samples and
1 analyze for total chromium to confirm the concentration
1 detected in the Phase I investigation.
2 . Measure the depth to water in the wells on a quarter basis
for one year . These measurements can be useful for
assessing if the ground water flow direction and gradient
variesseasonally.
3 . Proceed with closure plan preparation for the pond. A
proposed workplan for these services will be submitted under
1 separate cover.
XI .
