EXISTING Section Five: Setbacks and Structure Standards — 5.4 Building to Building Setbacks 1. Attached Dwelling Units: No building-to-building setback is required for attached units, provided building code requirements are met. 2. Building-to-Building:Wheretworesidential structures are notattached,the setbackfrom habitable structure to habitable structure shall be a minimum of 8 feet. a. Non-habitable portions of the residential structure, such as(but not limited to) chimneys, media niches, eaves or other projections may encroach into this setback. b. The separation between residential structures including (but not limited to)chimneys, media niches, eaves, etc., shall conform to building code requirements. 3. Shared Drives: Setbacksfrom building to building on the 1st floor across a shared drive shall be a minimum of 30 feet. 4. Shared Drives: Shared drives shall maintain a zone clear of obstructions a minimum of 20feetwide and 13.5' high. 5. Paseos: Setbacks from building to building where buildings front onto each otheracrossa pedestrian paseo shall bea minimum of 25'_(excluding covered porches,balconies,fenced orwalled courtyards,baywindows, eaves,media niches, chimneys or other projections from the main building), No fences, walls or other structures appurtenant to private dwellings may be constructed within a zone a minimum of 10' wide along the paved pedestrian path in said paseo. 6. Paseos: Setbacks from building to building where a building fronts on to the side of another building across pedestrian paseo shall be minimum of 20' (excluding covered porches, balconies, fenced or walled courtyards, bay windows, eaves, media niches, chimneys or other projections from the main building). No fences, walls or other structures appurtenant to private dwellings may be constructed within a zonea minimum of 10'wide along the paved pedestrian path in said paseo.
