CRFC 114271. Walls and ceilings of all rooms shall be of a durable, smooth, <br /> nonabsorbent, and easily cleanable. This section does not apply to walls and <br /> ceilings of bar areas, areas where food is stored in unopened bottles, cans, <br /> cartons, sacks, or other original containers, dining and sales areas, offices, and <br /> restrooms used exclusively by patrons. However, the walls and ceilings in these <br /> restrooms shall be of a nonabsorbent and washable surface. <br /> 2. CRFC 114268. The floor surfaces in all food preparation or packaging areas, <br /> open food storage areas, utensil washing areas, refuse storage areas, <br /> janitorial areas, and all restrooms and employee change areas, shall be smooth <br /> and of durable construction and nonabsorbent material which is easily cleaned. <br /> These floor surfaces shall be coved at the juncture at the floor and wall with a <br /> three-eights (3/8) inch minimum radius coving and shall extend up the wall at <br /> least four (4) inches. VCT tiles are not approved for the floor material in <br /> these areas. Rubber or vinyl top set base is not permitted in these areas. <br /> 3. CRFC 113953. Handwashing facilities shall be provided in the food preparation <br /> areas and in the warewashing areas that are not located within or immediately <br /> adjacent to food preparation areas. The handwashing sink must be installed 24 <br /> - 1 - <br />
