See
Plate 2 .
PROPOSED DRILLING:
i
This proposal is to drill one (1) 2" monitor well, MW-12.
The well will be drilled using hollow-stem augars. Total
depth of well will be 100+ feet. Groᅵundwate"r , .,in the area
of the well is approximately 75 feet deep. Solid wall E
schedule 40 PV G, F-480 pipe will be installed from 0-55 ' feet `
deep and 0.02 slotted schedule 40 class F-480 pipe from
55-100 ' . Concrete grout will be installed from 0 to 50 ' ,
t bentonite seal from 50 ' to 53 ' , #3 Monterey sand from 53 ' to
1001 . Well diameter will be 2" . See Plate 3 for well
construction detail.
i
Wells will be logged and samples taken for analysis at each
5-foot interval. Water samples will be taken after wells
are developed. Chain of custody forms will be used for
delivery of all samples at laboratory. Well will be
developed using a submersible pump or bailer. Soil cuttings
will be placed on visqueen and covered with visqueen. Purge
water will be barreled. Water and ', soil will be contained
until testing results are known an&I then sd spo_sed. -,accord-
ingly. No hydrocarbon contamination is expected at this
site.
LABORATORY ANALYSIS:
Water samples and selected soil samples will be tested for
Sodium, Potassium, Chlorides, Sulfates, Total Dissolved
Solids, and pH. Laboratory test results will be distributed
to San Joaquin County Environmental Health and California
WQCD a's_ soon as they are available.
START DATE:
Proposed May 1, 1991.
i
I
. s
