Earth Systems Environmental, Inc. (ESE) proposes to <br /> conduct a Phase I Soil Characterization associated with a possible release from an <br /> existing 500-gallon underground gasoline storage tank. <br /> ESE .proposes to conduct an initial site characterization consisting of two soil <br /> borings and laboratory analysis of four to six soil samples to assess the vertical and <br /> lateral extent of gasoline impacted soil in the vicinity of the existing 500-gallon } <br /> gasoline storage tank. Upon completion of the field investigation, and receipt of the <br /> laboratory data, ESE will preparea report of findings documenting the field <br /> activities, analytical results, data analysis, conclusions and recommendations <br /> I <br /> resulting from the soil, and groundwater characterizations. <br /> Methods to be employed are in compliance with regulations and guidelines set <br /> forth in California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title 22, Article 11, and Title 23, Chapter <br /> 3, California Site Mitigation Decision Tree Manual,. the Code of Federal Regulations <br /> (CFR) Title 29, Part 1910, Section 120, CFR Title 40, Parts 300-399, Tri-Regional Board <br /> Staff Recommendations for Preliminary Evaluation and Investigation of <br /> Underground Tank Sites, and San Joaquin County regulations as well as accepted <br /> professional environmental/geotechnical engineering procedures. <br /> i <br />
