INTRODUCTION <br /> In accordance with a request from Ms M�YLehr Advanced GeoE v <br /> ironmental, Inc (AGE) has <br /> prepared this Quarterly Report of field activities conducted at 204 East Lodi Avenue, Lodi, <br /> California Quarterly ground water monitoring procedures were performed in July 1996, soil bonngs <br /> were drilled in July/August 1996, monitoring activities for the in-situ soil vapor extraction and air <br /> ' sparging systems were performed periodically from May through July 1996 The location of the site <br /> and surroundings are illustrated in Figure 1 -Location Map Structures and well locations on the site <br /> are illustrated in Figure 2 - Site Plan <br /> The above-mentioned activities were performed in accordance with guidelines for investigation of <br /> underground storage tank (UST) sites established by the San Joaquin County - Public Health <br /> ' Services - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and the Central Valley Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB) Background information is summarized in the April 1996 and <br /> previous Quarterly Reports <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> 2 1 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br /> ' On 13 May and 10 July 1996, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground <br /> water in each well, except MW-2, relative to the top of each casing The relative ground water <br /> elevations were calculated by subtracting the ground water depth from the surveyed casing elevation <br /> (Table 1) <br /> After making and recording depth to ground water measurements on 10 July 1996, monitoring wells <br /> MW-1, MW-3, MW-4, MW-5 and MW-7 were purged using pre-cleaned PVC bailers A minimum <br /> of three well volumes of water were removed from each well Ground water stabilization parameters <br /> were measured at regular intervals in each well using an ICM water analyzer Purged water was <br /> stored on-site in 55-gallon drums In accordance with monitoring requirements for the site, MW-2, <br /> MW-6 and MW-8 were not sampled Stabilization data and field logs are included in Appendix A <br /> 22 COLLECTION OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> Water samples were collected from each purged well using new disposable bailers The samples <br /> YA/ <br />
