(3) The parking areas shall be landscaped as specified in Section 9-1020.5 of the Development <br /> Title. The parking areas shall be provided with a minimum of five percent (5%) of <br /> landscaping within the perimeter of the parking areas, not including landscaping along the <br /> street frontage. Fourteen (14) trees shall be planted, evenly spaced throughout the parking <br /> lots, and may be phased based upon the requirement of one(1)tree for every five (5) parking <br /> spaces. <br /> k. SCREENING: All storage materials and related activities, including storage areas for trash, shall <br /> be screened so as not to be visible from adjacent properties and public rights-of-way. Screening <br /> shall be six (6) to seven (7) feet in height. Outside storage is not permitted in front yards, street <br /> side yards, or in front of main buildings. UNIFORM FIRE CODE: The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance <br /> Code requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before <br /> submittal to the Community Development Department for a building permit: <br /> (1) Fire flow and hydrants will be provided for the proposed project by the use of Appendix III-A and <br /> 111-B of the California Fire Code. <br /> (2) Fire sprinkler systems shall be installed according to Article 10 of the California Fire Code and <br /> the appropriate standards and guides adopted in Chapter 35 of the California Building Code and <br /> the California Electrical Code. <br /> (3) Key Boxes: A knox box shall be installed according to the local fire department's instructions. <br /> (4) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with the California Fire Code, Standard 10-1 <br /> of Volume 2. <br /> (5) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to life or <br /> property(C.F.C. 105.2.1) <br /> 2.
